During our recent collaboration with Sons Of Liberty Spirits Co. we spent some time with their cocktail maestro, Ian Single crafting (and drinking) some collaboration inspired cocktails. The drink below is a play off of the classic cosmopolitan. It uses Sons Of Liberty's Loyal 9 Vodka, homemade cranberry syrup (see below), your favorite orange liquor (Ian makes his own), lime juice, and a splash of 'Gansett Lager for a little fizz and neighborly love.

The Providencian

1 1/4 oz Loyal 9 Vodka
3/4 oz Cran Syrup
1/2 oz lime juice
1/4 oz Orange liqueur
Shake and Strain into a coupe glass
Top with a splash of Gansett Lager

Cranberry Syrup

Combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water and 2 cups roughly chopped fresh cranberries into a saucepan on low heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cook on a low simmer for about 20 minutes or until the berries are completely soft. Strain through a fine mesh strainer. Store syrup in the refrigerator.
