Memorial Day weekend has become the unofficial start to summer. So the Gansett Girls were all over southern New England this weekend at several kick-off promos for some great summer bars. They brought plenty of cool Gansett Gear for prizes and palyed some games with everyone. In fact the rebus puzzle game was a big hit the Falmouth Raw Bar down Cape Cod on Saturday night. Such a great night, they want us back for more. Back in RI the girls were singing some karaoke with the patrons at Gillian's Ale House in North Kingstown. The crowd seemed to love it. The weather was absolutely gorgeous on Sunday. It was a perfect day to open the pool at Effin's Last Resort in Smithfield, RI. Steve Smith & The Nakeds rocked the stage that afternoon while the Gansett Girls danced away. We have more pool parties there this summer so be on the look-out for them. We also ended down on the water in East Greenwich with ice cold tallboys and live music at Harbourside Lobstermania. And let mania it was. The cool breeze was coming in out on the deck with a scent of the salty sea air from the bay. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Can't wait for more this summer.
