Weekend Recap: Cigar Expo, Amica Marathon, Rock 'N Shock, Chefs Collab And Brew Fests

It was quite the weekend for Narragansett beer. Once again our beer was proudly served at events all over New England. The first ever New England Cigar Expo took place in Providence at the Rhode Island Convention Center on Saturday. For the first one this event was packed. Gansett had a booth where the Gansett Girls were pouring samples for the cigar fans. Some of the celebrities that attended stopped by for a photo with them. Check out the ones of Buddy Cianci, Luis Tiant, Furio from the Sopranos, and Patrick Pass below. The Amica Marathon took place in Newport and ice cold tall boys waited for the runners at the finish line. Nice way to celebrate a personal 26.2 mile victory. Local musician and radio host, Tony Jones had a booth at Worcester's Rock 'N Shock expo this weekend. He showcased his band The Cretin 3 and his new label Cretin Records along with Chuckles The Clown. He was kind enough to bring some Gansett Gear to pass out during the event. Chefs Collaborative held their annual Harvest BBQ on Sunday at Schartner Farms in Exeter. Some delicious food was prepared by some of the best local chefs from Nick's On Broadway, Tallulah On Thames, Gracies, New Rivers, The Red Fez and more with music provided by Bob Kendall Band. What a party it was. Check out the photo below from photographer David Dadekian. And of course what fall weekend wouldn't be complete without a local brew fest. Just like the one we were at in Manchester, NH. Check out all the photos from these events in the gallery below.
