The First Annual Battle Of The Brews Surf Competition was a complete success. Thanks to the folks at the Narragansett Surf & Skate Shop and Anarchy Eyewear. There were tons of winners and the after-party at George's Of Galilee was epic with even more prizes from Gansett. Sadly the Narragansett beer team did not win the team division, but we are proud to say that we showed up and got in the water for an awesome day of surfing. Yes the waves were only knee high, but small waves are still waves. The temperature peaked at 106 degrees F and the water was gorgeous. Nothing wrong with this day at all. Tall Boy was there hanging out on the beach with fans. You can see more of that in the video above. We then partied all night with the Gansett Girls and reggae tunes from DJ Blademon. Expect big things from us with the Narragansett Surf folks and Anarchy Eyewear in the future.
The 25th Annual Monster Shark was held this past weekend on Martha’s Vineyard, MA. The largest offshore sport fishing event in New England! Several State and IGFA All Tackle World Records have been set in this event. This year, Narragansett was the official beer of the tournament. Check out the above photo of the flags flying high above Oak Bluffs Harbor. We assure you that the tournament is regulated. The Gansett Girls were at Effin's Last Resort on Sunday for an outstanding show. Both Steve Smith & The Nakeds and John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band were live by the pool. The place was packed and everyone was cooling off with a tall boy of Gansett. Both lager and light were flowing and girls had tons of prizes for people playing cornhole, volleyball and other great poolside games. We'll be there again for Steve Smith on August 14. Check out the photo gallery below from all of this weekend's events.
