Ice-cold brews for you buds (taste and otherwise) is pretty much synonymous with Summerbut that doesn't mean we can't indulge past Labor Day. Celebrate September with this Adventure: LivingSocial's Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival on the weekend of September 14, including unlimited 5-ounce tastings of craft beer, top-notch food trucks, DJ dance party, art, games, and moreall at Skylight One Hanson in Fort Greene. Head to Skylight One Hanson -- formerly the Williamsburg Savings Bank -- with a nonperishable food item; a portion of all proceeds will go to benefit Move For Hunger, our charitable partner that will have representatives onsite collecting donations to be delivered to local food banks. Get there early and sign in with one of our all-star team members, who'll be on-hand throughout the day. Once you arrive, you'll receive a 5-ounce BeerFest mini beer stein, which you'll use to sample over 50 craft beers from more than 25 breweriesincluding Narragansett beer, Brewery Ommegang, Breckenridge, Wandering Star, Lagunitas, and moreplanning to attend. Each brewery will be serving two of its top-notch brews through old bank teller windows, and you'll have tastes of them all.
As you roam the beautiful vaulted ceilings and white marble walls of the venue's upstairs area, fill your plate with delicious eats from a slew of the Big Apple's most popular food truckseach with a LivingSocial specially discounted item as well as a full menu available for purchase, (so be sure to bring some extra cash).
