July 22- Narragansett Summer Surfing Championships at the Narragansett Town Beach. Entry fee is $25.00 per person. Rated events in all age groups for shortboard, longboard, and bodyboard divisions. Trophies and prizes awarded to all finalists. Contest is sponsored by WBRU-FM, Anarchy Eyewear, Narragansett Beer and Newport Storm. There will be a post contest party at George's Restaurant in Galilee that evening. Sign up's on the beach at 10 am. DJ Blademon spinning reggae tunes all night, beer specials and surf movies....
