APPEARANCE

Whoever designs the cans over at Narragansett is the man! This can is gorgeous! Definitely my favorite of them all so far. Ok, on to the actual review. This is amazingly clear. There is absolutely no haze. The head lingered long enough to be enjoyed but left no lacing as I drank this one. Highly carbonated with an almost soda-like head. Other than clarity, this is just an average brew.

SMELL
This one is spot on for the style. Not necessarily a great smell, but the style doesn’t want anything crazy. There’s a faint light malt smell with an almost corn-like aroma coming in as well. Very reminiscent of American Adjunct Lagers (which this style is actually based off).

TASTE & MOUTHFEEL
Definitely not super bitter, but there is some hop presence in the taste for this one. Most definitely a dry beer as well. I would say this is similar to pilseners in flavor. I will say I prefer this over the original lager.

DRINKABILITY

Gonna quote The Pint Glass Poet (from his review of Narragansett Fest Lager) for this one: "This is incredibly easy to drink." Sitting at 5% ABV, this makes for a great session beer. The only downside is getting tired of the flat flavor of the style.
