The New England Americana Fest is about a month away, but the folks that put the show together created a really great compilation CD. Several of the artists that play the fest recorded some of their versions of folk tunes that are public domain. Some of our favorites from around New England including Jeff Byrd, Autumn Hollow, Brown Bird, Sarah Blacker and many more are featured on this great record. They are holding a release party this Sunday, March 13th, 5p-11p at Church, 69 Kilmarnock St, Boston. Live music by Old Jack, Joe Fletcher & The Wrong Reasons, and Mark Mandeville & Raianne Richards. Promises to be a great Sunday of music at Church. Check out the back and inside cover of the record below. If you can't make the show you should definitely grab a copy of this while you can.
