Halloween in New England was crazy. From Salem to Westerly, tons of Narragansett supporters were drinking their part and snapping photos for our costume contest.Just like this group at the In A Pig's Eye in Salem, MA on Halloween Night.
Friday night was the Charlie O's Fright Night Halloween Costume bash! 'Gansett Girl Lauren was dressed as the Beer Fairy and Amanda was a 'Gansett Girl Mechanic. They made people do funny things for prizes, like do a chicken walk on the ground saying "Gansett Gansett Gansett!" Someone dressed up in a Turkey costume and another dressed up in a Christmas tree so they snapped a "Gansett for the Holidays" picture with the two of them. Charlie O's was great as always and the special of the night was buy a $5 pitcher of Gansett and you get to keep the pitcher! There were tons of people drinking Narragansett and the 'Gansett Girls were able to play some fun games. What a great night!
Crowther's held a Halloween costume party on Friday night. The 'Gansett Girls had a table of prizes and the petition set up right near the band. The band made an announcements all night that 'Gansett was in the house with specials and sign their petition. Just about everyone was drinking a 'Gansett and dancing to the band. Good times!
Colt State Park in Bristol, RI became host to the Tuesday Night Athletic Foundation's (TNAF) Monster Dash on Saturday. This was the TNAF's first 5K run and 2.5K fun run and it was a blast. The Gansett Bob Sled team even showed up. It consisted of a group of 5 guys complete with a custum sled, gear and even had a 'Gansett coach. What an amazing costume. Take a look at the pics. After the race everyone headed to Judge Roy Bean's to drink their part and re-charge with some delicious food. They were all thrilled to find out that Narragansett was a sponsor of the race and a few people even said it was why they came. All in all the race went really well, the runners had a great time, and plenty of supporters signed the petition. A family dressed up like breakfast; eggs, bacon, toast, and the little baby was the butter; received a Gansett Gear pack as the best costume prize. They were so pumped to get the Gansett tall boy, stickers, beer pong balls and a $50 gift certificate from Cappy's in Newport.
Senor Flacos in Westerly, RI on Saturday night was crazy. The 'Gansett Girls arrived around 10 PM to find the place packed with people in costume. They set-up shop near the dance floor next to a secondary beer bar where they were able to get signatures and hand out prizes for the creative costumes. The highlight of the night was definitely the creativity of these costumes. People really went all out. The 'Gansett Girls' favorite was also chosen by the bar as their overall favorite. And the best part is he was drinking his part! He went as "Facebook" and was taking Polaroids of people and taping them to the front of him to be in his "friends list." So he had to have some 'Gansett Gear for that in addition to the bar's prize. It was an awesome way to spend Halloween.
