Eater NY announced the winners in their 2012 Eater Awards in November and named Mission Chinese Food restaurant of the year. This new Lower East Side favorite proudly serves Narragansett lager on tap and sometimes it's free. Both New York Magazine and GQ recently reported about Mission Chinese Food offering free keg beer in Dixie cups to patrons waiting outside. That beer just happens to be Narragansett. That's certainly a neighborly gesture while waiting for a table. Think we should give them a Hi Neighbor award for this one.
