2012 Philly Beer Week

Gansett is headed to the city of brotherly love where some of the best beer drinkers will be. It's Philly Beer Week and it all kicks off tomorrow. Here's the list where we'll be to celebrate. BEER WEEK EVENTS Friday June 8, 7pm-1:30am • $5 North Shore Beach Club, Northern Liberties Beer Week Kickoff Pool Party featuring the launch of Narragansett Summer Ale! For this Beer Week extravaganza, we'll be opening the pool early at 7pm as we check out Narragansett's new Summer Ale for the very first time. We'll have the 'Gansett girls on hand, plus Tall Boy, the 'Gansett mascot, and more. Plus, a DJ set from Philly's own Pitchforkacclaimed Lushlife, rounding out a full night of beach-infused classic tunes. Monday June 4th 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Location: Fergie's Pub Narragansett: Meet the brewer and rock out with your can out. Meet the brewer of Narragansett, try some new cans of beer and let your hair down in your beer while rocking out with Ron Gallo of Toy Soldiers. Giveaways and all that jazz... Cheap too Tuesday June 5th 8:00pm - 11:00pm Gansett Meet and Greet & Specials at Bridgid's Come over to wonderful Bridgid's Bar & Restaurant for a special Narragansett event. There will be drink specials, giveaways and a meet & greet with some of the folks from 'Gansett. Come out and try the 'Gansett Lager & Cream Ales! Wednesday, June 6 7:00pm - 9:00pm Location: BAR (13th & Sansom) Meet the brewer of Narragansett. We will have the full line available. Thursday June 7 6:00pm - 10:00pm Location: Percy St BBQ Ride the Mechanical Bull Percy Street Barbecue's Annual Ride the Mechanical Bull. Percy Street has up'd the ante this year with the first official team competition. You and 4 others (a team of 5) can compete for the coveted trophy. Competition starts at 8PM, Practice starts at 6PM. All teams must be signed up prior to 7:30PM.
