Hotel Vernon Tour: Part One

This is Part 1 of our Hotel Vernon history blog. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the “Vernon,” it’s located in Worcester Mass, in the heart of Kelly Square. It’s been a rooming house for a very famous athlete, worked as a speakeasy during prohibition, and has a rich history in Wormtown. Our tour guide is owner Bob Lagress (he’d be the guy in the Narragansett t-shirt).
The Vernon now books all types of bands, and has our ice cold draft at the budget friendly price of $1 a beer.
