It was another awesome weekend for Narragansett. With the holiday, we got to celebrate 3 days of Oktoberfest at the Newport Yachting Center. Plenty of festival goers were drinking their part with 3 styles of Narragansett on tap to choose from. Our newest Fest beer was the biggest hit. With a hint of clove spice and similar malt and hops to an oktoberfest style, this was a must have. We also had our Bock and of course Lager on tap. German food was consumed while enjoying some authentic German music as well. The ‘Gansett Girls were dancing with Clammie and the crowd was loving it. Here’s a video of the craziness.
The Grog & Dog Jog took place this past Sunday at the Wild Colonial Tavern in Providence. For the past four years, Narragansett and the Wild Colonial Running Team have put on this fun road race. Clammie made a cameo and ran in this year’s race. We didn’t win, but we didn’t loose either. And we were closer to last than we were to first. Clammie and the team definitely held their own. Eating the hot dog and downing the ‘Gansett was definitely not a challenge either. Jim even stopped to put ketchup on his. Here’s some videos from the quirkiness that took place.
